Mary Lou Yeomans, 65, of Janesville, WI passed away at her home Tuesday, April 19, 2011 following a courageous battle with cancer. Mary was born in Hazel Green, WI on February 22, 1946, the daughter of Leonard and Iola (Fowler) Mullen. She attended Van Matre Grade School and graduated from Darlington High School. She married Gordon Mittelsteadt who passed away in 1999. She married Brian Yeomans on December 30, 2000. They resided in Beloit until moving to Janesville in January of this year. Mary was very active and well known as a crafter for 0ver 30 years. She attended Central Christian Church in Beloit.
Surviving are her husband, Brian Yeomans, 1 son, Bret Mittelsteadt of Beloit, 2 step-daughters, Christine Yeomans of Milwaukee, Jill Yeomans of Beloit, 2 step-grandchildren, Meghan and Robert Polglaze of Beloit, her sister, Jean Moore of Janesville, 3 nieces, Teresa (Steve) Moore-Doiel, Tammy (John) Punzel, Tracy (Brian) Schroeder, several great-nieces and great-nephews and 2 great-great-nieces.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 23, 2011 at Henke-Clarson Funeral Home, 1010 N. Wright Rd., Janesville with Pastor David Meding of Central Christian Church officiating. Visitation will be from 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday at Henke-Clarson Funeral Home. www.henkeclarson.com
